"Someone Posted a Comment on Your Photos"

Oh really? Well, I've gotten 4 or 5 of those e mail alerts and I've yet to see a single comment on my photos page.
Can someone tell me how to do this seemingly simple task. I've been too embarressed to ask, after all, I've only been online for 7 years. A mere neophyte, right? :-)
