I recently went to the eye doctor for a routine exam, to renew my contact lens Rx and I was found to have higher than normal eye pressure. This could be a sign of glaucoma (yet another reason to smoke MaryJane, but I digress) It should be under 21 and mine ranged from 23 to 29. Each puff test seemed to generate a different result. I read that steroid injections could result in ocular disturbance such as this. My doctor verified that this could be a possible cause, but refered me to an opthamologist for further testing. Has anyone else had adverse effects to their eyes from scalp injections??? I'm getting pretty worried about this. I'm a bit of a hypochondriac and any time anything might actually be wrong I have to try to keep from imagining the worst.

Thanks Susan, As usual you were very informative and generous with your knowledge. I am planning on getting a complete physical and thyroid test done. I'm glad to hear your treatment was so successful. You made me feel a lot more relaxed about my condition. It's definitely better that I detected it eary before it was too late!
