I feel your pain, I am tired of doctors telling my thyroid is "normal" when to me it sure does not seem that way.

I have slowly been losing my brows/lashes for almost 4ys now. For the longest time I thought I had alopecia areata. And received treatment like I had it from several very irresponsible derms. After visiting a better derm I found out that alopecia areata was likely not the culprit of my hair loss but he really did not provide me much direction besides that.

After doing some more homework I now believe my thyroid is the source of my problems, I have had the tests run by my GP but like many others out there with symptoms my tests are "normal".

I am now on the search for somebody that will take my problems seriously, and provide me with some direction.

Out of curiosity has the hair on your head been affected at all. The derms I have seen have said it is very weird for me to be loseing my brows/lashes and for the hair on my head to be normal.

My grandfather had problems later in life but i don't think there is anybody else that has had problems. I think my mom might have a problem but is undiagnosed.

I am in the US a little north of Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Its a shame that many endos are like accountants and only look that the numbers and not how you feel,

If you use dark black eyeliner, powder eyebrow pallet and this makeup concealer you can't really tell and the makeup will stay on
