I have had a total of three alopecia areata patches since 2013. One of them was able to grow back on its own with the help of supplements and essential oils topical. I currently have 2 patches (photos included). In January 2015 I decided to try another form of treatment, along with continuing my supplements.

My New Treatment - Started 1-2-15

- Kenalog injections into areata patches

- Low-level laser therapy

I am very pleased to say that in 26 days I am having success growing back my very first alopecia areata patch. Although, I still have my larger patch, the fact that I am having success growing hair for one of them is a blessing. Has anyone else had success using low-level laser therapy? How long did you use it for?
