Sulfasalazine

So far so good. I am only at 1 Gram a day...500 in the morning and 500 in the evening. It has definitely assisted with my Ulcerative Collitis but I havent noticed anything yet on the head. Of course I am on a low dose They are monitoring my blood and liver and nothing bad yet. I will keep you updated if anything good comes of this. I have heard some positive reviews from this and my Dermatologist seems to agree we should try it out.

The next step is Cellcept and then I will try Cyclosporine.

I guess we will see. I can tell you one thing....I refuse to put pee on my head to grow hair.

Good Luck, hope you have better luck with it than I did. Sulfasalazine was the last thing I tried, and I called it quits, it was going good, and then had a horrible allergic reaction to it. I only got to take it for about 2 weeks. So I hope everything goes well for you.
