Tape isn't sticking to piece

Does anyone have any tricks to help tape stick to a polyurethane base? I bought this new hair piece and the base is very shiny and is made of a thicker poly. None of the tape I have tried works. I also tried so liquid tape that didn't work either. If anyone has suggestions I could use them! Thanks!

I use blue tape when I want a bit of extra security but that is on a lacefront Jon Reanu wig. Suggest you post a question on the www.wigsupport.com website - the ladies there are very experienced in all things 'wig' whenever I ask a question I get several great answers and they always solve my problems for me.
