I've looked 2 years on line typing different words to get someone who felt like I do with the same burning pain and itching. I added to main blog my story but in cliff note version. I am 69 live in California, survivied melanoma 26 years ago when I was given 2 months to life. Have a family and grandkids and enjoy my creativity and sense of humor and am bummed I have this horrific pain. Yesterday it was so bad I took a xanax 1/2 tablet to calm it down as it raises my blood pressure as all pain does. I am at a point I need to stop the pain althought it isn't all the time I felt last week it could have been triggered by tomato sauce and soup and my head was raging more at night. Putting ice caps on help until I take it off and it warms up...I am thinking of Botox but fearful of what else it will kill. also the kenalog. have any of you tried it? I used to teach holistic health, have had 4 MRI's, allergists etc. and yet we still have pain? ANy help is appreciated. This weeks Time magazine cover was on managing pain...One thing I try in meditation is visiualize the size of pain i.e football and shrink it down to a potatoe, golf ball and pea. it leps a little. until then Live Love and Laugh and I am trying anit inflamations diet..
