Hey Friends,
I was diagnosed with AA a year ago. After the steroid shots and creams, I currently have no spots (yippee!). I have, however, noticed the hair on the entire left side of my head getting thinner and thinner. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Wow! that is so wonderful for you, and hopefull for us. Thank you. I will pray for you Susanne that eveything will only get better. I think you should ask your Dr., but please try not to worry, cause you know that might make things worse. God Bless.
Hi, I've had alopecia for 8 years now, and unfortunately, it's a seemingly incurable disease. I lost my 95% of my hair in the first attack, but I've been able to maintain a nice 85% of hair since then, which is unnoticeable to anyone but myself. This is probably just another attack (no worries though! It may not lead to anything that drastic). I would recommend going back and getting some more cortisone injections, possibly using Rogaine and continue doing exercise and eating healthy.
Hopefully it won't be another attack and you can maintain a nice head of hair. Good luck, keep us updated
