Hi,
i currently wear a full lace wig. it was just a stock one i got and for my first wig it's ok but i've learnt so much more about the different types available!

I'm going to get a silk top wig and was considering a thin skin perimeter (i didn't want to get a full skin base as where i live is very hot!)

I was just wondering if anyone else has one and if it loos shiny and detectible? the problem i have with my lace with is the the falls out a bit at the base of my neck and then the tape and lace show through and it looks visible when i wear my hair up.

Any ideas or combo's that you guys use?

Also i thought it might be a bit easier on the clean up. Getting tape out of a lace wig can be so gooey!

Thanks so much

xx Poppy

Thins Skin Nape is a very thin, clear coat of polyurethane over a clear silk base that allows for easy application and removal. This will allow a client a secure fit on the back of the head and scalp without the application of glue. It still appears extremely natural and is very flexible.

I wear a full thin skin base wig Poppy...I got sick of attaching the lace wigs with glue and the messy clean up as I like to take my wig off at night. I can still glue the thin skin down and I do occasionally if the weather is windy but mostly it stays on just fine. I've also had the thin skin perimeter with lace and that is okay but I prefer the full thin skin as the whole wig seems to adhere to the scalp and makes it feel very secure. The base is very thin and is virtually undetectable. I found the poly perimeter with lace is not as thin and there was a difference between the two ventilations...the poly and thinskin are injected so lay flatter to the head whereas lace ventilation stands up from the scalp more. I prefer the flatter look it suits me as my own hair was like that. Hope this helps.
