Dear all,

I currently work in Indonesia (from the UK) and have just been diagnosed with AA. Obviously, after finding out I had AA, I did all the reading I could to help understand what it was.

I read that one of the courses of treatment was cortocosteriod (Trimcinolone Acetonide) in a concentration of 2.5-10g/ml once every four to six weeks.

So, during my first treatment session the doctor gave me injections of 10mg/ml (while also prescribing Rogain - minoxidil, and tablets of pantogar). However, she then said that should come back every one-two weeks to have more injections.

What I wanted to know is, should I be going back that regularly or is she just being too aggessive? I only have patchs on my beard an no hair loss on my head.

Thank you for any help!
