if you have alopecia totalis, does your hair come out all over quickly?

Mine came out in clumps but took a long time to do so.
alopecia areata is bald patches on the scalp or body.
totalis is the total loss of hair on the scalp.
universalis is total loss of hair on the entire body.

any of the above can move quickly or slowly; mj's took a long time to come out. i have universalis and lost all my hair (everywhere) in less than a month. some lose all or just part of their eyelashes and some don't. every case is just as individual as we all are.

I'm universalis now but it took a couple years for it all to go away.  Now, using rogaine, I have a few eyebrow hairs coming in.
