My alopecia is fairly new. I discovered my patches in late October. I can still hide it fairly well, but that is changing on a daily basis. I'm also uncomfortable with it and find myself touching my head constantly to see if the spots are showing.

My question is around business meetings. I have my own business and need to meet with clients occasionally. I'm considering wearing a scarf to business meetings. Is this acceptable? Will it look out of place?

Also, with wigs, if I suddenly have longer hair, will that seem bizarre? I don't care about people knowing about the alopecia, but it seems odd to announce it to someone I barely know. I think I'm worried that I'd be seen as seeking attention.

This stupid condition sucks.

I am a Family Advocate for our local county Mental Health department. I have Alopecia as well and am starting to have a quarter sized spot on the crown of my head. I am experimenting with scarves for my meetings. So far most people really like the scarves especially if you find some you really like. Hope this helps, look on YouTube for tutorials. There's a lot out there. Good luck!!

Hi Rose!
I lost about a third of my hair earlier this year, mostly all the crown and one side. It was in no way coverable! I run my own business, and I actually managed to find some smart beanies that suited me. I used to wear these but I would also Inform them prior to the meeting/right at the start. I soon realised no one really cared, they just wanted to talk business! But informing people I feel worked best as it eliminated the inevitable curious stares.

All the best!!
Also - I found wigs available to me (in my price range) were too itchy. Remember though people get hair extensions all the time so it won't seem that bizarre.

Can you cover your patches with clips/big flowery ones or combing hair over?
Thanks so much for your reply. The spots are really growing so I either need a wig, a scarf or just not worry about the spots showing. I'm going to look for some nice scarves to start and then check out the wigs.
Do it :) there's some very pretty scarves and wraps out there! Try not to worry much, it's easier said than done I know. And stop touching it every two minutes to see if it's grown! There's not much you can do if it has and it heightens your risk of a skin infection. My hair all started growing back but now I've lost a good credit card sized patch at the back on my hairline. It will grow back!
All the best :)

What kind of business are you doing? Seems like you have a small enterprise which doesn't generate a lot of profit. Take a small loan from https://plscashadvance.com/bad-credit-payday-loans-borrow-with-conf... and move on. You should always grow! That is nice, but in order to avoid such situations, just create your own business and run the world!

I think both scarf and high quality wig will be fine. As for the hair, I think nobody will notice extra length. And there is no shame in alopecia whatsoever. And it is not awkward to appear at meetings with beautiful scarf on your head. Think of people after chemo. They also have to run businesses somehow. What I would additionally recommend for your business is to use staff performance recording software https://www.kickidler.com/ just to prevent any cases of misuse of your resources. It works well to prevent any disputable cases as well as loss of your money.

Try to contact the company FastPaydayLoanStore.com and I am sure that you will be able to take the necessary amount on the same day. I haven't had a chance to work with this lender yet, but my best friend here often takes a payday loan and is happy with the cooperation.

Why do you have such problems? Try to relax and don't worry, it is normal situation. By the way if you have a business I can recommend cool online accounting services for you, here is a link https://osome.com/uk/bookkeeping-services/ we work with them for our company in UK.
