Week long backpacking trip
So, I am going on a week long backpacking trip with my father in a few months and I am not sure how to handle my head shyness issue. I would love any and all clever idea on what to do. I Don't want to spend a million dollars on a human hair wig to wear in the dirt and ruin in the first day. synthetic will just turn to an uncomfortable rats nets. scarves never stay properly on my tiny odd shaped head and im still a bit shy in those as well.
Then there is a comfort factor. Anyone do long hiking trips or working out? What do you guys do?

awe, I might be the wrong person to speak on this but woods, camping, hiking all equate to "back to the basics". So my thoughts are, shave your head and go naked (on your head that is). :) use bandanas or hats to keep warm....do what is most comfortable.

When I run or am doing anything outdoorsy that messes up wigs I wear an older synthetic and pull it back in a low bun. Then I wear a hat or bandana as well if needed or just the wig in a bun all day. The synthetic does not get too bad when pulled back. I am wearing my year old synthetics for that kind of stuff!

This may be too late, but what about those hats with pony tails? That way it protects your head but gets rid of your insecurity bc it looks like your just a sporty girl on the go!

I just came back from a camping trip and wish I thought of that, the whole weekend I put my wig on to go out to the bathroom and to sit outside in the fresh air and felt sooo uncomfortable, plus the air killed my wig...
