I've had alopecia for going on 5 years now.
I was AU for 2 years and now back to AA for the past 2 years.
I've been using several products and wanted to find out if others are using them as well. Maybe we can share our techniques, what works and what doesnt.
I keep my hair buzzed pretty close. Zero to one sometimes a two on top.
The cosmetic products I use are as follows.

Suyra Brasil Henna Creme. I use this every 2 weeks or so to color my white hair and darken my scalp. (I'm allergic to regular hair color)

Dermmatch. I use this every morning. I apply it to my spots with a damp makeup sponge and then blend it in with the rest of my hair.

Couvre. I use this cream when my hair is longer than usual and the coverage isn't quite right with the Dermmatch alone. I apply it with a makeup sponge patting it in to the spots in need and then blending as needed.

XFusion. If things are still a little askew I use this product as a finishing touch. I sprinkle the fibers onto my head here and there and then spritz with a little hairspray to hold it all in place.

I can usually get by with the Dermmatch alone and be done with it in 5 minutes or so. If it's a terribly difficult day it can take up to 20 minutes but that is a rare occasion.
