Whats the best way to dry wigs?

Im going to wash my wigs for the first time, how is the best way to dry them, I know I cant use a hair drier, but can I do a towel wrap with them?  I do this with my needlework, I wrap the item in towel and do a gentle twist, and then just lay them out flat to air dry.
