When I don't want to wear my wig, how do you wear a scarf (like a silk neck scarf) on your head?

I can't quite figure it out. And how do you make it stay on? When I attempt to put it on it slips off my head. I don't have much hair to put pins in it.

Either try the prettied ones like wise1 said. or there is this great product called the wigrip that you wear under a wig or scarf to keep it from slipping. It is a thin velvet band that velcroes around your head and provides the friction needed to prevent slipping head scarves.

Hi Bunny,

I wear scarves all the time. The trick is to wear a liner underneath. My liner is a simple running cap found in most sport stores, however I think the best one is from Lululemon. I buy the men's running cap as the women's has a hole in the back for ponytails. I have them in three colours (black, grey and brown) so that I can match it to whatever scarf I choose to wear.

So first thing is the running cap. Once you have this, it's easy. Take a scarf and tie it tightly into a knot at the back of your head. Then take the extra fabric and wrap it around the knot to create a bun. I often layer two scarves to create a combination of fabrics and colours, and also to create a larger bun at the back. Works really well. I wear it like this all summer long and then change into wigs only once the colder temperatures set in. :) If you want to see photos just send me a message.

I wear scarves all the time. Try to use a cotton scarf, and not any that are made with silky fabrics. The larger the scarf, and heavier the fabric, the better. Just try playing around with one.
