My daughter has some re-growth happening. Not sure if this is a good sign and if it will all fall out again. She only has a few tiny spots where it is re-growing. Some have turned dark already and the others are just very fine peach fuzz. Is this a good sign that she will have re-growth all over her scalp?

Like Wise1 said, it is so hard to say, but that is generally how regrowth starts if she is going to have any. That's where I am at, some parts are turning dark while others are just chillin. But its positive in the sense that it means her hair follicles are alive and regrowth is a very real possibility. Good luck to her!

I had no head hair at one point (at that point again now for the second time) and before it grew back I got white hair all over and a lot of it but it was actually see through rather than white so from a distance you couldn't see it. It then started to turn colour - the whole process from white to coloured hair took maybe 6 months. it only then stayed for six months and has taken 6 months to then fall out again - leaving me where I am now - bald again! So there seems to be a 6 month pattern forming - or that is my hair growth cycle. hope your daughter's hair continues to grow and get stronger :-)

Thanks for sharing that information Jules. I am now at the stage of having small white hairs growing back, not all over just yet though. I was wondering how long it would take to turn into coloured hair. It's not easy having this condition, I hope you hair grows back again and that it stays! Good luck, Debbie.

Thanks for the info everyone! Good luck to us all!
