I tried one a few years ago. It didn't seem to be made for a person with no head hair. The hair was an unpleasant texture and since it didn't fit on my head, I never wore it. (She wouldn't take it back even though I never wore it).

I found an amazing company in the United States: http://www.russianhair.net

The hair only comes in brown shades but I took it to my hair dresser for highlights and a cut. She basically said, "I'm not sure this is virgin hair but it is THE hair that every woman wishes to have." After three months it is still gorgeous. No wezzing at the nape. I ordered my first wig with but didn't measure quite accurately. My second wig fits like a glove! Barely any tape needed. I share this because I was taken by a hair replacement specialist for 3.5 k for a wig that wezzed up within a month! My hair from russian hair runs about 1k per wig. Its a great deal seeing as how long they last and how beautiful the hair is. Check it out if you want a human hair/european unit. I've been extremely happy!!!

Hi Welshcake......I so glad for your inconvenient with RussiaAir....
I'm very afraid mistake wrong measure...and then colours are to meny dark for me (I use a blond wigs)
Today a do my order by Lori's......hopefully good...........

Hi Welshcakes…You know, I am using http://www.russianhair.net for all my wigs for a long time now and they haven’t screwed up once. I have seeing the pictures of the wig that you got from them and I am just not sure how could you expect the hair to be lighter than you got when they have a very clear virgin hair color chart http://www.russianhair.net/id80.html . If anybody offers you “virgin” Russian lighter than that you know it’s processed. It is definitely virgin hair they sell. Virgin Russian cannot be mistaken for anything.
No offence, but it’s not company’s fault if you made not very accurate measurements. They could help a lot of alopecia women and you are making it look like they are a “bad company“.

The color chart is there from day one. I had to cut an inch because it was my fault, I made a wrong measurement. How do I know? Not a crystal ball, it's just dozen of women I know have the best exrerience with this company. You are the only one who complaints. You shouldn't be mad at the company if you made your own mistakes in ordering.

How do you know the colour chart was there from day one? Do you work for them? Plus I don't see how you can accuse someone else of this: "You are even accusing me now in "conspiracy" to defend your points and mistakes." when you have not addressed her very concise response to YOUR accusations. I think this is bullying and it is NOT cool. We all have hair loss... as far as I can see you are attacking a fellow alopecian sister and I cannot see why... what do you gain from doing this? If the products from this company are so great, then they will speak for themselves and people who need to buy from them will do so.

This is where I buy  my wigs and she does custom sizing $ 45 for non hand tied and 125 for all over hand tied and she will also add the dermafix for 75 dollars or you can get the kit form her and do it yourself for 45 dollars. I haven't been disappointed yet knock on wood!!
