Wig Itch on the Face

Hi

 

I have a few wigs now (all synthetic),  Iv lined one with cotton sheeting to stop the head itching but its still irritating my face.  Has anyone got any tips to stop this - would vaseline work?

 

Iv thought up of ways to get the hairs away from my face and neck using updos, braids etc which might work.

you may want to try other hair boards such as long hair care forum or black hair media. There's a wealth of knowledge on there or even youtube has some tutorials. But from what i've read was trying an apple cider vinegar rinse (about 1 part ACV to 4 parts water) something like that. Personally, I haven't tried it. But maybe you can try washing the wig, that helped my face a lot. But check youtube for tutorials.

I have washed one short wig, but still getting some itch, it may need another wash, as Iv had to do this before with some new clothes Iv had in the past.

I'll check out you tbe for the tutorials.
