Can I get some wig recommendations please? I've always had a full head a long thick hair but now I barely have any of that hair left. I would like a wig that's very natural looking. I would like the most natural hairline possible so I'm assuming that would be a lace front wig with Human Hair? I'm so new to this and completely clueless. Any help would be very appreciated. I'll attach some pics of the way my hair was and hopefully I can find a wig similar to what my hair used to look like.

Thanks! :)

Hi

If you read through this particular forum you will get a lot of anecdotal replies to what suits each individual. Whenever somebody is talking about the wig that they wear ...well they love it, otherwise they wouldn't wear it. I am no different and am biased to the hairpiece my daughter chooses to wear. I believe that it is the best alternative for her and her lifestyle, and the most realistic wig I have ever seen.

I think it important for you to do some investigation into what you want to achieve with a wig. I did this when I began to investigate options for my daughter 10 years ago. The first thing I wrote for myself and her was a wish list. In my case my daughter and I needed her wig to be secure (without glues and tapes as my daughter has allergies), we wanted it to be absolutely realistic no matter what she was doing (swimming, roller coasters, PE at school, ponytail, updo's etc.), it had to be very comfortable, it had to be easy to care for and have longevity and durability. With this list I went looking and I found the wig my daughter continues to wear to this day(Freedom Wigs).

You may have slightly different needs and wants but be thoughtful about what they are. Write a list and then find something that suits your needs. Be careful around the quality of the hair you are looking at and keep in mind that there really is three types of wig products available, synthetic hair, processed human hair, and 100% unprocessed virgin human hair. Don't get confused with all the different names they call hair (European, mongolian, chinese, lightly processed). If it's processed then you need to understand what that will mean to you and your wig. If it is unprocessed you also need to understand what that means for you. Synthetic same thing.

Good luck with everything. I hope you find something that works well for you.

That seems like the best, to match your bio hair look. You need to do some more researching about the difference in texture between what is called Indian Remy hair, and Brazilian Remy hair. In both types you can get wigs that are quite long. Probably need to consider how much flat ironing you are willing to do. Indian hair often needs straightening on a regular basis.

I wear a lace front synthetic wig, I've had many and get compliments all the time!!
