Wig shops in NYC or Long Island

Hi,

I live with AU and wear a synthetic wig. I moved to Long Island (from Switzerland) and I am looking for a new wig now.

Can anybody recommend a wig store in NYC or on Long Island? What is the price range? I am looking for a synthetic short wig. Kind of a young style.

I found may online shops with wigs that look good, but not may stores. I like the brands Raquel Welch or Rene of Paris. Does anybody a store, where I can buy this wigs? I don't like to buy online, because I like to try them before I buy.
