Wigs and dating

I have been on a few dates with men when wearing a wig

I find some of the men to discriminate against me because I am wearing a wig.

Some do not want to see me again.

I had one man tell me he prefers women who do not wear wigs.

Would like to get perspectives on dating with wigs.

Do men dislike wigs?

Are wigs often a dealbreaker?

Sorry I feel almost like I don't have a right to comment on this because I'm luckily married to a man that accepts me bald, in a wig, and whatever. He actually likes when I change my style.

But I have to say if wearing a wig is a dealbreaker then the man is a shallow ass! I'm sorry you've had bad experiences. I wish you the best of luck finding someone that either doesn't care or enjoys the fun of wigs. They are out there

I am so shocked that you've had this experience. Most men don't really care about things like that as long as you look nice to them. Wigs these days look so natural that it shouldn't be that noticeable. Were you wearing a good quality wig?

What's most important is the persons character, not so much what they choose to wear, especially when it comes to wearing a wig. That's a personal preference.

The good thing is that you saw early-on what his character was. You were saved from being unaccepted for who you are.

You are lucky to have a supportive husband and the financial ability for custom, human hair wigs. I am single, poor and disabled and the constant hassles, expense etc.   are nerve wracking (that's not the adjective i would like to use)  Also, men and people can be shallow and it's very difficult to date, period and alopecia makes it that much harder. Also, it;s very difficult to swim, any sports and sex is precarious wearing a wig..   It completely changes your life and freedom. Many obstacles, plus tremendous expense
