Wigs for summer?

So, with summer approaching my children have started asking me if I am going to go swimming with them this year. I don't want to say No, but I really do not feel comfortable going bald as I have lost all of my hair and my eye brows :(
Does anyone have any suggestions of a good type of wig or any other suggestions? Thanks :)

Big floppy hats! They are back in style now too. Of course, you may not be able to swim with it, but it will cover your head. Also, it might cover your face to protect it from the sun too, which is a good added plus. You could try a swim cap too. Or, baseball hats are great. I usually wear a baseball hat. I've tried just putting a scarf on before but when it got wet it was too heavy so it wouldn't stay on my head.

I'm Pamela, I have AAU. It's not easy being Alpecian but we can certainly show our children we may not have hair but we are still women, strong & beautiful (sometimes not easy to feel)
I don't wear wigs in the summer. It's just too damn hot. I wear allot of scarves & hats (they can be so fun).
When we were going to Maui, the first time since losing my hair, I was looking, like you, for something to protect my bald as a bean head & yet look cute. On the NAAF website I found NAMMU Swimming Hats. They are GREAT, for kids & adults. Lots of fun colors UV blocking. Take a look at their website & see what you think. You may or may not like them, what works for one person may not work for another.
More then anything, ENJOY the summer with you're kids. These will be memories that not only you but they will cherish all their lives. Remember, they love you, their only concern is that you are there. I just bought my 14 yr old daughter the Swim Tiara from Hip Hats With Hair and she loves it. It looks beautiful on her and she can style it in a pony-tail, long braid down the back or a high messy bun. She even wears it bike-riding and just hanging around the house. It's really cute, I highly recommend it!
