Its been over 2 and a half years since I have had Alopecia Areata it started off with one small patch of hair loss which then grew in size of a 50p coin I then received a few smaller patches around my head 5 in total which all grew back within a few months apart from the very first patch of hair which was lost and the largest in size it has now been over 2 and a half years and that one particular area is still the same the rest of my lost hair patches grew back a while ago which did show me some hope I am curious to why it all grew back apart from one patch of hair and to why this patch of hair is taking so long to grow back or if it will ever grow back...getting tired of wearing hats all the time since im very self conscious but it seems to be the only thing I can do. Has anyone else had a similar experience to this? If so how long did it take for your last patch of hair to grow back?

Everyone is different. If it were me and I had one patch that was being stubborn, I would probably speak to my Derm to get the injections in that area. I had success with these the one time I tried them before.
