Will it get worse?

I'm 25. I started losing patches of hair 3 yrs ago. Some hair grows back fast while other patches tend to get really big and last a long time without regrowth. Does anyone know if it'll get worse??

janice, i don't think anyone knows. alopecia is unpredictable and that's one thing that makes it hard to deal w/. it may even get worse before it gets better or tomorrow it may get better. no one can say for sure what will happen. for me, i'm always just trying to hope for the best...
