Hi, my son (age 6) was diagnosed with alopecia areata  last week. It's now been 12 days since I first noticed the bald patch at the front of his head. The doctor told us it would go completely bald, but I'm wondering when I should expect this to happen? The hair seems to be growing back slightly, so this confuses me. My son maintains he pulled it out himself, but the doctor was sure it's AA. (I think he did pull it, as he twirls his fringe as a habit,  but perhaps it was coming out anyway - he said it didn't hurt.) The area (about 4 cms) is partly bald, partly covered in short hairs, with some normal length hair). Currently, I'm a very confused mummy, clutching at straws!

"I was bald. I was felt shy in public. So, I got treatment from http://www.medispaindia.in/hair-transplant-in-bangalore/ So, The natural hair is better option than any other."
