Does anyone know of an alopecia specialist in or near Portland? Any leads would be great as well. Thank you so very much!

Hello!
My name is Megan Simón and I am the new NAAF (National Alopecia Areata Foundation) Support Group Leader for Portland, Oregon and the surrounding areas. We will be holding meetings every 2 months at Tabor Space in SE Portland as well as planning events, having speakers and supporting awareness month fundraising efforts.
If you live in Portland, Oregon or it's surrounding areas please feel free to join our group, I'm looking forward to meeting you!
My story: I have had Alopecia Areata since I was 5 years old and have had varying degrees of hair loss consistently throughout my life. My goal with this support group is to create a community that is a safe space for people to share stories, laughter and friendship with individuals that are struggling with the same shared experience. Portland has been without an NAAF sponsored support group for over 5 years and I am so excited to bring it back!
You can find our support group online on Facebook here:

Hi! I've been wanting to find other bald women in Portland (who don't wear wigs) to share stories and laughs with. I think the hardest part of being a bald woman is often having no one else who sees or understands all the little daily difficulties of looking different in this particular way. If you're out there, let me know! - brenna
Hi there. I am from the Seattle area, and heading down to Portland this weekend. If anyone would like to get together, I'd love to connect with others who have alopecia. I can bring my book if you would like to check it out Head-On, Stories of Alopecia.
