Hello does anyone in this group still belong to this forum? I'm from Kewanee Il. I would love to meet some people near me who deal with Alopecia. I grew up having it but didn't go bald until 5 years ago! If any of you still get on here I'd like to hear from you!

I was actually apart of the support group at Children's Memorial Hospital years ago...I wonder if my old doctor is still running it and if he has if my old friends are still apart of it...Were anyone teens or kids here patients of Dr. Mancini at Children's?

I'm trying to spread the word of an NAAF support group I'm starting in Dubuque, Iowa (it's across the river from Northwest Illinois). From here the closest support groups are 3 hours away. So if Dubuque is closer to any Illinois Alopecians then support groups in Illinois or southern Wisconsin, please get a hold of me. Even if you just want to stop by. Thanks! Rose

Hello everyone, I am glad to know that there are other people in Illinois that have Alopecia. Because, for a while, I thought I was the only one that is intill I found this site and now I know that I am not alone. So if you wish to talk or just share stories about yourself. Feel free to do so I will gladly listen and only wish that you would do the same.
