Support group in VA that my 12yr old with AT can go to.

Please let me know if there's any support group in Virginia that my 12 yr old can go to at least talk to.  She lost her hair in less than a month.  I think it's starting to sink in that she's showing signs of depression.

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter's hair loss and the emotional challenges she is facing. I don't know of any organized support group in the state but I wanted to reach out and offer my support. I'm located in Central Va. Where in the state do you live?

We live in Alexandria within Fairfax County.  It's about 20 mins away from DC.  I just wish there's a support group out there for kids/teens.  I want her to know that she's not going through this alone. Although, sometimes I feel depress more than her.  I'm glad I found this group.  It really helps my mental state.  Seeing your respond makes us feel a little better. Knowing that someone knows what we are going though. Thank you

My 7 yo son was diagnosed in April. We are in the Chesterfield/Richmond area.
