I use to have break outs with the wig because it was synthetic and I would not wear a wig cap. Sometimes the hair irritates my face. I started wearing a semi-thick hairnet to keep the hair out of my face. It has helped. Get a lot of compliments from people that it looks stylish and I am bringing back the snood(hairnet) from the 50's/60s.
I had alopecia for over 20 years. I am highly allergic to peanut butter, most peanuts, cats, mold, dust, kiwi. As I get older the list seems to get longer. I developed eczema in my 20's. Have flare ups when I gain the weight. Then was told it was psoriasis. Decided to start eating healthier. Started this 10 day Green Smoothie regimen by J.J. Smith. Seemed to help with the allergies.
anyone allergic to their wig? I buy a variety of wigs at various pricepoints. they all have cause some itching or irritation, but I find lately that even the smallest stray hair that touches my face or forehead causes extreme itching. I am not at a point where I can go completely bald, so I have to wear my wig. I don't use benadryl or anything like that, but this itch seems to be getting worse in the past year or so. I welcome any ideas you have.
I am allergic to pollen. But only some types
