I've had asthma was quite some time and now that i think about it, i probably developed it around the time i was diagnosed with AA. I've never really thought about the connection.

I have had asthma for about 10 years. I got impetigo a few times in the past 6 years. 2 years ago i was sick all through my senior year of high school and they couldn't find out what was wrong with me, i still don't know what it really was but i do know it had something to do with my immune system, in order to get better they took out my tonsils and adenoids and it helped a bit but i am still always getting sick. I was diagnosed with AA 3 months ago, after i noticed it for the first time, who knows how long i have had it though.

Oh, I've had eczema since I was 3 too. The 2 seem to go hand in hand.

I've had Asthma since I was 3 years old. When I was a kid it was bad, it doesn't really bother me now. I have an inhaler in case there's an issue.

I first got Ipetigo, then Eczema, then Asthma and then Alopecia all at the same time the year was 1979. My immune system went haywire. I have always wondered was this all related in some strange way as well......

Nobody knows for sure what conditions are related to AA since the doctors don't know what causes it to begin with. AA, Asthma, allergies and eczema all have to do with an immune system disfunctions so I believe there is a connection. My daughters AA showed up when her asthma took a turn for the worse. I find that coincidental and was curious if this happened to anyone else. I think there must be a trigger for everyone and everyone has a different trigger.
