It probably depends where in BC you are from Melissa. I am guessing that near Vancouver or big cities, you would be able to find them easily. Like near Kamloops, Kelowna, PG, etc.
I do not wear wigs so I cannot direct you specifically. I am AU and have only worn them on a few occasions as I find them so uncomfortable and they are just not for me even if I spent a lot and got "the perfect" one.
I am sure others on here will give you some excellent advice on where you can start.
Good luck!

Hi my name is Melissa, I am new to the group. I am a 29 year old from BC who has been living with Alopecia for ten years. It has recently progressed to a more sever stage since I gave birth to my son last year. I am thinking about buying a wig...does anyone have any advice. I don't even know where to start.

Anyone in the Toronto area looking to do:

Snowboarding / Skiing -- I hit Blue Mountain pretty much every Friday during the Dec - March months...

Badminton -- Still looking for someone to have some casual fun playing (I used to be 'better' but time has eroded my skills :)

If anyone is interested drop me an email. Nothing to serious (I'm not training for Olympics) -- but just to keep active and enjoying sports that are fun.

I also 'inline' skate (competed in the past) -- so if anyone wants to skate in the summer drop me an email... As a result of being in the 'skater scene' early on, I was very fortunate to have the opportunitey to be one of the first 'roller bladers' in Canada and used to teach at the Beaches (Toronto). Long before the major stores carried inline skates...

Thanks Everyone!

Hi
I just returned to Vancouver after living in Australia and want to know if anyone belongs to an Alopecia support group in the Lower Mainland. If so which one and if not are you interested in joining one?
