I honestly believe that I would not have been able to handle alopecia if it were not for my faith in God and the support of others He has brought unto my life. So keep hanging in there and know that He has wonderful things in store for you!

Hi Portia,
I too was just diagnosed with AA about a month ago. Alot of questions as to why this was happening to me were not just asked of God but yelled at him. But he is bringing me peace everyday. Even today in the shower...where the worst of my hairloss happens, he brought me peace. I know God has nothing but good things in store for our life. He sometimes needs us to surrender to this thought completely, which is so hard to do. I continue to surrender my thoughts of worry, anxiety and anything else to him and in return he fills me with love and peace. Hang in there. i'm right with you in the losing phase and it's tough. But we will be strong individuals with God as our crutch.
