Hey everyone. First I'd like to thank God for another day as He didn't have to grant me that. I have to take this time out to say that it's been about four or five months and I haven't had any flare ups.

Now this is a big deal considering I had a form of scarring alopecia. Not to gross anyone out but it's nice to wake up in the morning and shave the few hairs I do have and not have to run across pusy, running sores on my head. Sorry for the gross description but I've had this since high school and I lead and still lead a very clean life.

Now I know the bible says that it rains upon the just as well as the unjust. But when you've never did drugs, alcohol and eat an almost vegetarian diet and never had sex outside of marriage (yes I'm a big 32 year old "V" don't laugh) you kinda think you deserve a healthy scalp. Anyway...

It was very irritating going up to the altar for prayer, having my pastor gloss my forehead up with olive oil and press down on my head and rebuke sickness and walk away to find out a few days later I'm not healed. Or combing my hair over bald spots trying to hang onto my sexy using gels and pomades. Not to mention waking up with blood spots all over my pillow and covering my good pillow cases with old pillow cases so I wouldn't stain them with blood spots. Whew!

It's been a journey and God never ceases to amaze me. God is great and greatly to be praise. I'd shout and clap but I'm in a library.

Thanks for reading.

Peace.

Hi Leon

Thanks for sharing this. God certainly is great and greatly to be praised. I am glad that your condition seems to be getting better. Alopecia is teaching me to want God for who He is not for his gifts. It's taken losing my hair to help me realise that. I liked the last line 'I'd shout and clap but I'm in a library'!!

Hi Jude.

Oh..I love your name. Beetles song right? Thanks for the comment..yes you're right. God should be praised for what God is and not what He does.
