A thought occurred to me this morning during my devotion time. Why do we feel so unacceptable? I personally have felt that way alot in my life as an AA now AU recipient. The Word says that He created us all in HIS likeness and in HIS image. Is this point mistaken by us? I believe it means on the INSIDE. The Bible also says He looks on our heart and MAN looks on the outward appearance. So by that token whose opinion do we accept? Psalm 139:13,14 says we are "fearfully and wonderfully made". The blood of Jesus and His love for us makes us acceptable!!! (John 3:16) Praise the Lord!!! Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:9,10 and I quote from the Amplified Translation: 9But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may [b]pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! Some days this is hard to accept as truth, but if we seek His face and ask for His help this is the promise given to us, Paul himself had an affliction, a "thorn in the flesh" he called it. The Word doesn't say what it was, but couldn't we consider AA, AT, AU,FPB, MPB a thorn? I know it ceratainly has taken up alot of thought and emotional time in my 24 yr journey with it by my side. But praise be to Him who sits on the throne that Jesus Christ himself has also walked by my side every single day and caused this to bring glory to Him in my life, I pray it so anyway. Just a little rambling, but I felt the need to share, you guys are awesome, thank you for the courage you have shared and inspiration that you are to me!! Blessings to each of you in JESUS' Holy name!!

What a blessing! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for posting this :-)
I know that what makes me acceptable, whether I have hair or not, is that I am a child of God. That is what defines me and my life in general. Not my career, my family, my friends, my hobbies, my successes or my failures. No matter what happens or down which path my life takes me, I take comfort in the fact that I will ALWAYS be loved by God and that He will NEVER leave me. He is in control and He knows what is best for me.
Many blessings to you!
Thank you for the reminder.
