How is everyone doing? It's gone quiet in here.

I am ok, I have noticed a reduction in stress seems to be helping my hairloss as I now have some regrowth. At one point I seemed to have no regrowth at all! I left my job at the end of September and I am having a much quieter life at the moment. Although this regrowth has happened in the past and it is early days, it is positive news for me. I am not sure whether it is here to stay or whether the hairs are minaturised so we shall see.

I had been following a new routine of haircare for a while and I am wondering if that has also helped. Plus, I noticed that my rate of shedding does seem to be somewhat affected by the seasons!

Would love to hear updates from anyone else...

Hey Dolly

Hmmm my regrowth fell out or at leas most of it!!!!!!!!!!! I am in a good mood though because I have my nice wig so I shall be fine.... *sniff* haha.
Awww Dolly I hear ya!! I felt like that when I first started wearing wigs. What wig did you get? What do you think looks wiggy about it? My first wig was really wiggy, in fact now I look back it was awful and I did realise it at the time, but I had no other money so I had to wear it. It didn't have a realistic part line and was overly dense, because it was so dense it felt incredibly hot. I still have it, but only use it to walk the dog with a hat in when it's freezing, windy or snowing!!!!!

I saw your pics on your page and your bio hair is so lovely - the curls and colour!
Asking the GP is a great idea - I am sure you will qualify.

I know what you mean about the itching... and I found it hard to scratch in case it made the wig move in front of people! Have you adjusted the straps in the back? Sometimes a little adjustment there helps. My hair is very short now and I find it does make it more comfy for me wearing wigs. In fact shaved was the comfiest thing I ever encountered with wig wearing - then it did feel a bit more like it could be my hair because it was 'hair' to scalp rather than a sandwich of hair, my hair, scalp... if you get me.
