In 2017 members were asked if they had entered the end phase or burn-out phase of FFA.
It is 2020 and I have not seen any confirmation of this being possible. My Derm said it was possible by my mid 60's. I was diagnosed at age 57. Anyone?
Eve, if by burn-out, they mean no flare-ups and no hair loss, then maybe I am at that point. I was diagnosed with FFA when I was 50. I had one flare-up at about 60. I was able to get that under control very quickly and haven't had a flare-up since (I'm 65 now). I still have a full head of hair but have lost the sides close to the ears and my eyebrows. I know, it's very frustrating because no one seems to know much about this disease. Why did we get thIs in the first place?
