I was just diagnosed with AA on May 12th 2009. It started with a large spot in the back on Mother's Day evening. I totally freaked out. I went to the doctor the next day and was diagnosed with AA and also with Fibromyalgia. Three days after my diagnosis I decided to shave my head. It was very depressing watching my hair fall out all over the house.

I totally agree but it took me a long time to come to that conclusion. I have worn wigs on and off for over 30 years. I still wear one on occasion, but mostly I go natural. It is usually winter time when I wear a wig and then it is more for the warmth than the look. It is fun to change up - with or without, what will it be today.

I have one hair growing in my right nostril and it is driving me crazy...I can feel it move when I breathe. I'm hesitant about pulling it, because it will hurt!

This is a group for people who appreciate the bald head. This world is a sad place when bald headed people. I have never seen a woman who did not look better bald without all that ugly hair. The bald head is beautiful and the world needs to take notice.
