This is my favorite hat. It is black velvet and goes with the trim on my winter coat (I have scarf and gloves as well). The coat is long, almost to my ankles and is fitted to the waist and then an A-line to the hem. It looks like it is off a Currier and Ives picture print, and I should be skating on a frozen pond. I don't have many hats, but will get more this winter than I've ever had. :-)

That is a VERY hip hat, Andrea! And it fits your face well.
I'm a big fan of berets. So chic.
Andrea: its a really pretty hat :) where did you get it? i have a similar blue ne but id love one in black! :)
I really like newsboy caps and baseball caps, although when my hair is really falling out, I tend to shy away from wearing my baseball caps because of the see-thru mesh in the back. In the summer I wear a lot of bandannas and scarves since it is so hot and humid in GA.

Sorry about that. My laptop is acting up :(
I can see why you like that style of hat; it looks great on you.
I live in florida so anything gos! I like the taxi cab cap its best suited to my face. I love fidoras for dressy occasions or just cause I'm feeling fabulous. I also was given a Michael Denali crushable seagrass hat. It will never fall off in up to 40 mile an hour winds I took it on a cruise and I've been out in the river and it never falls off. Good luck Linda
I also love fedoras. I have a bunch of them. I've also got a couple of Pork Pie hats which can also be very cool. Thanks for the info about the MD crushable, I'm going sailing in the Virgin Islands in June and I'll need a had that can handle the wind. Thanks for the reply.
