Hi Laura

Yup I used to worry about that as well. Then I discovered that it was much to hot to wear a wig while out riding so now its just my hat! The first summer I hardly rode, actually didnt go out much at all. I knew if my wig came off Id be mortified. Now 3 years later Im usually bald headed LOL If its chilly out Ill wear one just for the warmth factor but thats it. I dont ride in the winter (way to cold up here for that). There are much bigger problems than wigs tho as in dust in the eyes and nose (I wear a bandana over my nose and mouth if I have to) and sun glare )I NEVER go out without sunglasses anymore).

I work with a Charitable Society that is called Wild Pink Yonder. We organize and run 3 week long horse back trail rides to raise funds for breast cancer research. When I dont have my cowboy hat on, I wear a little tshirt fabric beanie that I make myself.
