Illustrator, painter...and dancer, when I can. Polka or belly dancing, anyone?

I've never been very eloquent with words. I find that musical expression conveys my thoughts and emotions much more accurately.
I enjoy building and playing guitars. I don't practice nearly as much as I used to but it's because I have a 1 year old daughter that I love to spend time with as much as possible.
She is mesmerized by watching my fingers as I play.

Hi! This is a cool group; I just found it!

I am also an artist and musician! I am book artist with work exhibited in several galleries throughout the country and I have a band -- Stiletto -- that performs jazzy/bluesy/hip stuff: sax, acoustic bass, keyboards, guitar, vocals (I'm the vocals). Today we were in the studio recording, so hopefully I'll have something to post soon. (But it seems to take our recording engineer a LONG time to mix stuff down!) I'd love to hear other people's stuff! Even it it's just something recorded in your room while you were playing guitar or singing would be so cool! (Can we post audio/video files here? If not, youtube?)

Nice to meet you all! Have a great day!

Is that true? Is it like scientifically proven? Cause...that's kinda interesting, if it is. I don't know if I'm 'creative'. I like taking pictures. And I love music. And I amateurishly play the piano and guitar. Really amateur. And I'm not the best artist, but I can draw. But that's something, if it's really a proven thing. Huh. Weird.

It's true, people have alopecia are more creative. I love performing art, drama, musical and dance. I am studing design now, and want to be a designer.

Found a lot of acceptance through music. (laughing) I suppose they kind of expect you to be a little weird if your a musician!!

Hi everyone,

I'm drumming with both of my bands this weekend in Newport Beach, CA at the annual Laguna Folk Dance Festival. Here's the link for info, in case anyone's in the area:

One of my bands, Dromia, will be on Friday night from about 10:00 - 10:45 pm
The other, Eastern Exposure, is the featured band Saturday night for about 3 hours.

I don't compose, but I love to sing and play the piano, and I teach K-12 music and private lessons. I love that I get paid to do what I love so much and get to share my love of music with another generation.

I sing, write, play some guitar too. Love music. Keeps me alive!
