Friends?

Hello, I am a mother of an 8 yr old beautiful little girl. She was diagnosed with Alopecia when she was 3 yrs old. It started with just bald spots and they would grow back, but last year she continued to loose her hair and she is now completely bald. She is now loosing eyebrows and eyelashes. She is so beautiful and strong. She has learned to cope very well. She doesn't have a lot of friends so Im here looking for maybe a little girl her age that she could talk to and if close they could play together.

My daughter 13 it has been easy for her and we are just beginning down this road. She lost almost all of her hair.

My daughter Camille is 14 she lost hair not all of it and both eyebrows; her hair has come back and 1 eyebrow; the other one is quite stubborn! She had been bullied at school because of her alopeica! She decided to fight back and since has made a page called Dare To Be Different! She LOVEs talking to other kids and helping them through things; she has been through a lot in the last 4 years of her young life! I think it's so much better for kids to talk to other kids that have already been there and know excatly how they are feeling! :) Her page is www.facebook.com/camille.paddock! :)

Im not sure wht happened to my daughters hair she lost mostly all of it last year and now its back thicker than ever she is 6 we live in augusta ga..The dr told me they didnt see anything medically wrong but i my self have alopecia..she is very loving and caring if close im sure they could be friends..

Hi, my daughter is 9, she started with alopecia earlier this year, it started with one patch then all of it fell out in a couple of months, she now has had some regrowth, but is missing many patches, and has started DCP treatment, however she is hesitant in keeping it going. We are still discussing it now, as I am leaving it up to her. I myself have alopecia totalis, I lost all my hair when I was 12 in a matter of two weeks, I did not loose my eyelases or eyebrows untill I was 30, but had no other body hair till then either.
Im sure my daughter would like to write and be friends.

Hi I'm a mom off a 7 year old, Maddi had Alopecia when she was 2 and a half, but her hair came back then it left again when she was 6, Maddi lost her hair all over her head her eyebrows and eyelashes, she is a very strong little girl, she now wheres a hunmand hair wig, but I don't call it a wig in front off maddi because she does what ever she wants with it she colors her hair and puts it up in a pony tail etc, Maddi knows that Bald is beautiful. Sorry it took me awile to write this little note to you. so where abouts do you live? Because we know no one that lives up here that as the same as maddi, I was even going to shave my head but maddi said know mommy,you can't do that. ok take care
