My sons sed rate was elevated in April and so we were sent to an immunologist they retested and now it is even a little higher (was 54 now 60). Does anyone have any info on that??

I am familiar with the SED rate test due to other medical problems. Unfortunately it tells a doctor very little. It indicates that there is some sort of inflamation in your son's body but it does not provide any information by itself on the cause. Your doctor will probably be doing other tests that will help isolate a more specific problem. I am not a doctor please talk with yours more about this test, hopefully he or she can explain it better. Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sed_rate for additional information.
