God is so awesome! God always know when we are in need of Him to come into our lives. I was reading from the Book of Psalms 121. This part of Psalms let us know that we should not fear what goes on in our daily lives because He has a shield over us as long as we keep the faith, and believe in Him. My prayer today is for us to continue to build our strength & faith in God and be able to face our issues without fear.

I love to pray! Actually, I try to "pray without ceasing" but it doesn't always happen that way because life gets in the way. I recently read a book by Sister Wendy (the nun from the PBS art series) about her thoughts on prayer. I am not Catholic, but I found it truly inspiring and amazing. I wonder if nuns still shave their heads? Probably not. Anyway, glad to be part of the group.

My prayer request for today is for Gloria and her family. Her daughter is on life support, and they have been told there is no hope of recovery. The daughter has two adolescent boys, so the life support is not being turned off until after the first of the year so Christmas is not forever tied to the death of their mother in their hearts and minds. I don't think they realize what is going on yet. Please pray for the family! Thanks.

One more request. My sister and her husband are divorcing after 40 years of marriage. My extended family needs prayers to walk through this with dignity and love in our hearts.

I would like to pray for Julie who's having a very hard time right now. I also want to pray for all of us who battle alopecia each day.
