Learning my way around here so I decided to make this a separate discussion thread.
I did the Magic Shave with the card last night--still didn't get it all. The directions said to not use again within 24 hours. Angela I'm wondering have you had to do more than one round to get it ALL???

Also, I'm noticing in the areas where my scalp IS smooth, there are little dark spots which I THOUGHT were hairs, but I guess not. My question is does anyone else have these? and do they disappear as the scalp darkens?

Okay thanks, let me know if you get any razor bumps. I don't want to go through that again. It was not pretty and it hurts.

So far so good. I took your suggestion and did the alcohol swipe afterwards. The barber who did my initial shave used something similar and the next day or so I could feel a couple of bumps on the lower right, but they weren't painful.

So did you do it?

No not yet, funds are low. I have a 22 year daughter in college and I'm paying her tuition on my own. I have one last semester to go, she should graduate this December. PRAISE GOD!!!

What a blessing--Congratulations! :D

Today was a "bad head" day! :D For some reason, the stubble wouldn't go away and my scalp was spotty. I didn't shave yesterday, and I didn't go against the grain because I saw what looked like it could've possible been razor bumps forming. Then again I'm wondering if my scalp is just "toughening up" from the exposure to the razor and sun???

I'm tempted to get a blade shave, but I read somewhere to not go back and forth--to allow the scalp to get use to one form for a month.

Any thoughts/comments???

Anybody else using make-up concealer, foundation or powder on their head???

I used foundation once, but haven't thought about using again. Actually I forgot about it. Have you tried and what were your thoughts?

That's been my saving grace, because I can't stand looking at the difference of skin tone from my face, and tricolor spots of hair stubble, follicles or whatever it is on my scalp. I've tried both concealor and powder. Of course there's the "make-up on your hands" thing if you like to rub your head as I do.

Okay, I might pay for it tomorrow, but I got annoyed with the the stubble, and tonight I just grabbed a disposable razor, soaped my head, and went for it. I did the alcohol rub afterwards, which stung a little more than usual, then rubbed some Vitamin E oil over it.
We'll see what happens... *,*
