i was at guides the other week. i am a young leader and we were doing an activity where we had to hold hands in a circle and pass round the hoola hoop. i wore my wig tied up with a clip and the hoop caught the wig and pulled it off. thank fully the girls aged 11-14 are fantastic and didnt say anyhting because they already rknew . this just goes to show that if people know it makes the whole situation a lot easier

hope this has helped some of you

what are your stories

feel free to add me on facebook (Velvet Cooke) xx

Im a guides leader too :) Are you coming to the world camp in ireland this year? Yeah it is awkward when you have a wig because im a yound leader for the ladybirds (ages 5-7 1/2) and they get confused. Also when your camping, especially with other people, they ask questions. Thankfully my pack knows about my condition and understands it.

i work with the older ones we r not going shame cus we cud have met we r working towards my adult leadership :) x
