hi my names Velvet and i am 17 . when i was 11 my mom found my first bald patch and took me to the doctors. the doctor told me that it was alopecia areata. he said that there was no cure. at that time it wasnt very bad. i could cover up all the patches. when i was 13 it started getting worse and so i went back. they made me try some cream but it didnt really work and made my head hurt. when i was 13/14 the doctor sent me to get some wigs and ever since then i have been wearing wigs. my hair was nearly all grown back in august but then by september it started going again and i keep finding new patches. yesterday i went and brought my first 100% human hair wig and spent a gd m30 mins curling it just because i could xx
