Hello fellow Texan! I've just joined alopecia world and now this group. Looking forward to meeting people like me. I seldom talk about my alopecia since growing up with it from the time I was 7 years old was very painful. I' m now over 40 and i' m so happy to know there are others just like me.

Hi Stacey,
I have attempted to start a Houston group, but in the past, I had only found one person to attend. I have also been in contact with the Houston NAAF representative, but he has had a difficult time finding people who are interested. I'd love to start a group if we could find interested people. Even if it is small, that would still be wonderful.

Hello Zee... I started singing that song in my head after reading what you wrote. Lol. There might be a group that meets up in the big "D" Dallas. I don't know if they have a NAAF representative for that area, but if they did, then they would be able to tell you. There is always the conference in SA to look forward to in 2014.

Just want to say hello. I'm from the big "D" Dallas. Its nice to see Texans coming together on here. I would like to see this group get the most members one day. Everything is suppose to be bigger and better in Texas you know. I always like to make new friends so feel free to hit me up.

Houston Texas Group: Tentative date for a "get together" will be September 22nd at 2:00pm. I am going to look into locations. I thought for the first one, perhaps we could meet for coffee. Then for the second one, maybe we could have lunch. Everyone is welcome! Please send me a PM if you will be able to attend so I can get a head count. I will let you know the location, and if you have a suggestion, please let me know.
