If you are interested in attending the baseball game on Saturday, August 25th, please contact Tracey by THIS Saturday (July 28th) to secure your tix! Tracey's contact info is on the NAAF.org website.
Wonderful Kristy! If I don't hear from anyone else, then at least you and I can meet. Lunch/drinks/coffee would be good with me. Hope you have a good move!
To everyone in the Houston, TX area:
I would love to start a group for all of us in the area to get together! If you would like to attend, please send me a PM, and we can talk about it. I haven't found a location yet, but I am going to work on it.
Thank you
I haven't been on this site in ages. I was hoping to find that a Houston support group was "alive and kicking." I live in Katy but would love to meet others. I've been asked by strangers quite a bit in the past couple of months if I'm going through chemotherapy. At first it took me back but then realized they were only trying to be supportive. I get a blank look when I tell them no, that it's alopecia. Anyone else run across this?
Hi Jenn, We are moving to Houston (Champions Park Area) at the end of July/early August. I have universalis, and I have two daughters much younger than your son (3.5 years and 8 months) but we'd love to get to know your family. I know that the ages may not be close, but maybe he'd see that other families have bald mommies, too. I've had a big group of support here as there are a lot of women with alopecia in the Chicago area so I'd love to make some friends to share the ups and downs of alopecia with in Houston. And I, too, lost all my hair after the birth of my first baby.
