One of the most frequent questions I receive as a rep is "What if/can I have regrowth underneath my Freedom?" I thought I would stick a quick blog about this on here so that others can contribute to the discussion and so people interested in a Freedom Wig understand what is required if you do start to have hair growing back.

Currently, I have complete regrowth on the back of my head and it is slowly starting to spread to the sides of my head. Unfortunately my hair is not wearable still as I am missing large circles on the the sides and front of my head. My Freedom Wig is beautiful and for me personally to go back to my bio hair, my hair would need to grow around my entire head. So to wear my hairpiece I simply shave daily which takes all of a minute to do. Some clients who have patches of growth shave with an electric face shaver like a "Philishave:, others, like myself, quickly steal my husbands MACH 3 razor and give it a quick Bic in the shower. I no longer need any shaving creams but some clients do like the use of it.

Either way, you can have patchy hair loss, you can have regrowth, you can have all over androgenic hair loss (I have quite a few clients like this) but the one commitment you need to make is maintaining a shaved head in order for the vacuum to work. You have to decide if your bio hair is 'wearable' for you, if you are thinking not, and your Freedom Wig Independent Agent agree that you are a good candidate for our hairpieces then you may want to commit to the shave. This is a big step and one not to be taken lightly.

You will always be able to see the patches of regrowth so if a time came and you felt like you had a great head of hair growing and you wanted to forego a hairpiece and give your bio hair a whirl then that is when a transitional hairpiece may be required during your regrowth.

I hope this helps and please feel free to add to the discussion.
Hope you are all well and enjoying Fall.
Warm Wishes,
Jenn Krahn

Hi,

I was wondering about hair pieces. I have lost about half of my hair and am thinking I need a few pieces to clip in so it isn't so obvious. I don't need a full wig yet, but who know what is going to happen. How do I go about getting some pieces? I want them to look very natural!!

Thanks,

Kristy
